Employee of the Month
Bell Payphone Labs would not have the long history of milestone projects and the global reach is has today if it were not for it's amazing employees. We strive to be a team-oriented environment based on collaborative problem solving and lateral thinking.
As such, this year we are launching a new initiative entitled Employee of the Month in order to highlight our hard-working employees, both full-time and contract, past and present, who exemplify and uphold the values that move Bell Payphone Labs into the future and beyond.
January 2009
Our first Employee of the Month award goes to Benedetto Bufalino who was lead engineer of the EE-VASN UR841N3 model of payphone booths. His innovations in the phone booth's lighting system and impeccable waterproofing designs have expanded the demographic market of payphone usage beyond human beings to other forms of life.
Regretably, Benedetto was only with us for a short period of time before the Cancer Research Society for Giants in Paris recruited him to develop a new line of clothing to protect their clients from harmful U.V. rays. And as much as it pained us to see him move on, we are happy that he has found success in his other ventures, and is spreading the interdisciplinary spirit of Bell Payphone Labs.
