GMBLL Japanese Spherical Wavelengths Research conducted by Bell Payphone Labs has revealed interesting data about how payphone users are perceived and how they navigate throughout their day.
The consideration of the emotional implications alongside the operation of our data function protocol has made this particular project the first of its kind in the phone industry.

Touch-based technology

The GMBLL utilizes touch-based technology and minute electronic circuitry to gauge the emotional impact that a mis-connected call has had on a user

The touch sensor system for reducing the effects of contaminants on an acoustic touch sensor. Acoustic energy is transmitted across the touch sensor substrate. Any perturbations in the acoustic energy induced by environmental events, such as valid touches or contaminants, are sensed and analyzed. Touches are validated based on length.

Simplified Payment Method

These phones accept coins only and their inflation-resistant mechanics have been programmed to accept a maximum of one 25-cent piece.

This Beta low bandwidth version shortens the loading time of the dial tone, but its performance and effects may be limited. This decision is based not only on economic factors but also on user testing and analysis.

Space-efficient design

The development of this particular model has been influenced by research into how identical spheres can be tightly packed together. Stacked neatly, the spheroids still take up 74 percent of the space, just like spheres. But our computer simulations show that spheroids could be packed much more densely, and filling up to 71 percent of the space.

Caller Reward System

When the caller has been rejected, the busy signal or message from the dispatcher is measured and reinterpreted as pulse width frequencies. These frequencies are compared with the temperature of the receiver (held by the caller) and a spherical treat is dispensed based on the readings of a comparator inside.

Suitable for installation both inside and outside, the GMBLL is recommended for high traffic areas with other payphones in the immediate vicinity. It is especially appropriate for train stations and hospitals.
